With the passing of Donald Byrd this week it brought back the memories of this great 90's documentary that I had on VHS, Red Hot & Cool. This was a project designed to raise awareness for Aids and featured a collaboration of some of our favorite artists..like Guru & Donald Byrd, Roy Ayers & The Roots, The Pharcyde, MC Solaar & Ron Carter ( which is worth the price of admission alone).
