In 1973 Sunburst released the 45 "Reward" by Melvin Bliss. The B-side, "Synthetic substitution", featured percussion from iconic drummer "Pretty" Purdie. The funky beat on the intro has since became the backbone for a mind-blowing bevy of Hip Hop classics.
